The Lobby

The Lobby mixes tailored furniture with characterful details. The palette stays neutral—ivory upholstery, warm wood, muted greens—sharpened by black accents in the mirror, table bases, frames and contrast piping. Those darker lines give the room definition and help the space read larger.

Key pieces set the tone: the Vanderbilt mantle in a deep finish with a scalloped and carved black mirror above it, the palm chandelier in soft gold, and a fluted credenza in rich wood. Seating is grounded by a round marble coffee table, while glass-top side tables with brass details keep things light. A compact bar moment appears as a black stained ash wood cabinet with brass hardware and a scalloped folding tray table for drinks.

Styling leans personal rather than formal: embroidered “eye” cushions, a carved head, a small pomegranate object, palm sculptures, an amber vase, and framed toucan bird and elephant prints. Cane, marble, brass, glass and timber show up across the room, so every piece brings a different texture without competing. The result is a welcoming, well-put-together space that opens the home with clarity and personality.
